100th day is fast approaching!

Can't believe that the 100th day of school is ALMOST here!  In the past we have done some fun projects and I thought that I would share with you!

100 Day Collections!  Students have 100's charts, they take them home and create a collection of 100 things to bring and display.

100 Day Shirts!  Students use their hand prints to create these AWESOME shirts!  We use a different color for each student and we count by 5's.  Works GREAT when we have 20 students!  (I use boys undershirts to paint, they are relatively inexpensive esp. if you purchase them at the back to school sales).

We made graham cracker houses and decorated them with 100 pieces of candy.

And we completed 100 piece puzzles.

We also do some writing projects.

  1. These are very cute! Do you use front and back or only the fronts of these shirts? What type of paint do you use - and do you buy 20 different colors? Do you repaint the hands after each hand print? Thanks for any answers!

  2. Answers to your questions :)
front side only, acrylic paints (apple barrel brand, cheap at Walmart) you can buy 20 different colors, or mix your own colors. I put paint (like lotion) on one hand they rubbed together, it depended on how much they rubbed it in and how messy their hand prints were if I had to reapply the paint. Usually it was after 6 hand prints (3 sets). Hope that helps!
