Field Trip to the Rose

We went to the Rose Theater in Omaha this fall.  We got to see "Go, Dog, Go", it was AMAZING!  I love how we get to go see and do things as a class that some of these kiddos might never experience.

I could only "sneak" a few pictures of the back drop before the production started.

We took some pictures with Elliott's First grade outside before we left and then played "Get Mrs. Greenwalt".  Essentially it is just giving Mrs. Greenwalt a giant bear hug.  Kept the kiddo's from wandering off looking at things.

Field Trips.... Late late late I know :(

In the fall we took a field trip to the Cass County Memorial Hospital, while we were there we got to perform a pretend "tonsillectomy".  My firsties got to play different parts, they had SUCH a GREAT time!

We learned a lot about doctors and the hospital and how it isn't a very scary place at all.  We got to eat ice cream after the "procedure" and tour the hospital and even see a new baby!  It was a GREAT time!
